Electroplating - My pH is dropping...
In Electroplating, maintianing the proper pH is critical for good results. In the Ni Sulfamate process, the pH is generally maintaind withion 3.8 to 4.2 . During the normal process the pH should rise gradually. This is countered with additions of sulfamic acid. In some cases, the pH can begin to drop. This indicates that something is wrong with the chemistry. Here are some troubleshooting tips.
